In our short time in business, we’ve had the privilege of working as contractors for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, contributing to the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), and for the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), where we assisted with planning for the 2024 youth circuits conference. These partnerships reflect our commitment to fostering system-wide reform and support for youth and families.

Success Stories

Driving Youth Engagement for Systemic Reform

In early 2023, Aide Moore, founder of Elevate Empire, was invited to join the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) just one week before their 12-week work groups were scheduled to begin. Despite extensive outreach, the department struggled to secure participation from formerly or currently impacted youth who could provide critical lived perspectives.

Within two weeks, Aide connected at least one youth participant to each work group, ensuring youth voices were represented across the board. Additionally, she facilitated a listening session where department leaders engaged directly with youth, gathering targeted feedback on how the PIP was perceived and concrete suggestions for improvements. This rapid mobilization and direct feedback loop underscored the power of lived experience in shaping systemic reform—a hallmark of our Insight Unleashed approach.

Building Organizational Capacity and Donor Engagement

Liberty Thomas, Executive Director of Jem Friends, shared, “Aide was extremely knowledgeable and informative.
