The Network for Social Impact is a transformative internship program designed for college students, aspiring advocates, and those passionate about making a difference in their communities. Through hands-on experiences and collaborative opportunities, this program provides participants with the skills, insights, and connections needed to drive real change in social justice and reentry services.

Participants work alongside industry professionals, learning firsthand how to address complex challenges within Idaho’s justice, foster care, mental health, and community systems.

All contributions are recognized, and interns are credited as authors on materials they help create. This recognition not only celebrates their achievements but also builds a strong foundation for future professional growth.

  • Access to Qualified Mentors: While direct mentorship isn’t part of the program, interns gain access to a carefully curated list serve of professionals certified to mentor system-impacted individuals. This network provides valuable connections and insights into mentorship in reentry and social justice work.

  • Real-World Projects: Interns work on impactful, hands-on projects that address pressing community needs, such as reentry support, community resource handbooks, and public awareness initiatives. Every project allows interns to see the direct impact of their work in the community.

  • Collaborative Environment: Partnering with nonprofits, colleges, and advocacy groups, interns engage with various sectors to drive meaningful change, fostering a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.
